WZor 消息称微软 Windows 8.1 Update 2 本周 RTM，预计微软将在下个月的 WPC 2014 全球合作伙伴会议上宣布。WPC 2014 届时将有大量微软合作伙伴出席，宣布新的 Windows 8.1 系统更新也是非常恰当的时机。

除了 Windows 8.1 Update 2 外，WZor 也爆料称，在会议上微软可能会展示早期预览版 Windows 9（Threshold）。

Mary Jo Foley 的消息源称，Windows 8.1 Update 2 可能最快会在 8 月到来。但开始菜单还不会在Windows 8.1 Update 2 中推出，可能已经推迟到 2015 年的 Windows 9。（via WinBeta）
