Windows 8 发布已经 9 个月过去，Windows 8 份额在上个月增长至 5.1% 正式超过了 Windows Vista。如今 Net Applications 7 月数据也已经公开，Windows 8 份额仅上升了 0.3% 至 5.4%，这也是 Windows 8 上市以来份额上升最慢的月份 – 微软 CEO Steve Ballmer 不久前在内部会议中坦言Windows 销量不如预期。

同期，Windows 7 份额从 44.37% 略提升至 44.49%，Windows Vista 继续降低至 4.24%，但 Windows XP 仍有 37.19%。Windows 整体份额提升至 91.56%，Mac OS X 降低了 0.01% 至 7.19%，Linux 降低了 0.03% 至 1.25%。

根据另外一大访问追踪服务 StatCounter 的 7 月数据，Windows 8 份额 6.61%、Windows 7 为 52.48%、Windows XP 为 20.45%、Windows Vista 为 5.24%、Mac OS X 为 7.35%。

备注：Net Applications 的数据来自 40,000 个网站每月独立访问量 1.6 亿。StatCounter 的数据来自 150 亿页面访问量。两者数据均只供参考，非微软官方数据。
