微软在 Windows 10 发布会上展示了 Windows 10 技术预览版，但展示到的功能只有全部新功能的 10%，像 Cortana 和通知中心都不在公开展示的范围之中。但在闭门展示中，微软向一部分媒体展示了 Cortana，题图是根据微软展示的 Cortana 模拟图。

微软将在 Windows 10 中完全将 Cortana 整合到搜索体验中，但在即将发布的 Windows 10 技术预览版中并不会整合（开放）。根据 The Verge 的 Tom Warren 的描述，Windows 10 任务栏上的搜索按钮，将会触发 Cortana 功能 – 可以输入问题和 Cortana 互动，没有单独的桌面应用。

不过微软将保持快速的 Windows 10 更新，相信微软会在第一时间向 Windows Insider 计划的用户推送。
