上周，微软如期推出了 Windows 8.1 预览版和 Windows RT 8.1 预览版，前者可通过 Windows Store 更新或 ISO 安装，后者仅可以通过 Windows Store 更新。然而对于企业 IT 评估来说，情况可能要复杂的多，微软在其 Springboard Series 博客中透露：

Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview ISO 会在数周内推出。

同时微软也给出了 Windows 8.1 企业评估的一系列安装方案：

Windows 8、Windows 8 Pro（零售或 OEM）、Windows RT通过Windows Store 或 ISO 镜像文件安装。

早期 Windows 版本通过ISO 镜像文件使用 DVD、优盘安装；下载 Windows 8.1 预览版 ISO，使用 MDT 2013 或 System Center 2012 Configuration Manager R2 来更新系统

Windows 8 Pro（批量激活）通过Windows Store 更新；ISO 镜像文件使用 DVD、优盘安装；MDT 2013 或 System Center 2012 Configuration Manager R2 来更新系统

Windows8 企业版，Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview ISO 会在数周内推出

微软还指出了升级至 Windows 8.1 系统可保留的信息：
